After learning from online tutorials picked up knife again after nearly 8 years. It was pretty tricky for me but am happy with the results..may be better next time :)

Chaotic state of mind... Just casual scribbling for mins lead to this...sometimes it is a good way to release chaos through lines..makes you feel better and relaxed

It seems off late scribling on the note has become an easy way for me to stay away from pen and paper...though i still find love in the charcoal sketches and watercolor..this aint a bad way to continue my hobby...

Sometimes you just cannot find a solution as if you look at the horizon and figure out where really do the earth and sky meet...!!

love the way this came out..with starting from the face to changing the way lotus would look...9 hours of work spread over two days.. am happy with the results..

again limiting my palette to blues and yellows..theres a long way from a toy boat to real sailor.. yet dreams never die :)

"Autumn"

Well looking at the computer image i feel the painting still needs one more coat, but i feel it would become darker...may be..

Limited my palette to all red hues. Left a lot of white spaces to give a silent water effect.

Well after a long time, finally i picked up the brush and canvas turns out to be my jeans. Eventually the end result came out really well and i call it the "Firebird"

"Roots Deep Under"

the impetus was a sentence " roots deep under"

i see the trees as old friends standing with each other watching silent water distant foliage , birds who come and go by, yet they have fence in between them but does that matter to them they are still friends coz they have roots deep under which are unseen and entangled

"unspoken"

love between grandparents and their grandsons is always evident but when they get far away living in some other distant places just one touch says it all... a theme that came to my mind many a times but i guess was provoked or rather infused with this theme...

"silence"

silence of the dark , silence in the eyes and the stillness of the flower......

done completely in charcoal.....in 2.5 hrs

tried playing arnd with new variation into the black sketches, using this hibiscus hue

made in 1 hr using 8B,10B,2B mech, pencil colors in 1 hr

"Mystery"

eyes look as if they are spying or are they looking for someone or in wait,

is the veil to hide from the outerworld....or is the beauty exclusively for someone who will unveil the veil...



done in 1.5 hrs using 8B,6B,2B mech.
