"Roots Deep Under"

a long awaited work!!

the impetus was a sentence " roots deep under"

i see the trees as old friends standing with each other watching silent water distant foliage , birds who come and go by, yet they have fence in between them but does that matter to them they are still friends coz they have roots deep under which are unseen and entangled

"unspoken"

love between grandparents and their grandsons is always evident but when they get far away living in some other distant places just one touch says it all... a theme that came to my mind many a times but i guess was provoked or rather infused with this theme...

"silence"

silence of the dark , silence in the eyes and the stillness of the flower......

done completely in charcoal.....in 2.5 hrs

nt much happy with the sketch but content

"startle"

shocked on seeing something ;wants to say something but thinks.....gazes

work done with charcoal, 8B,6B ,2Bmechanical in 1.15 hr

"variation"

tried playing arnd with new variation into the black sketches, using this hibiscus hue

made in 1 hr using 8B,10B,2B mech, pencil colors in 1 hr

"Mystery"

eyes look as if they are spying or are they looking for someone or in wait,

is the veil to hide from the outerworld....or is the beauty exclusively for someone who will unveil the veil...



done in 1.5 hrs using 8B,6B,2B mech.

"Feelings"

may it be craving to be loved , be that desire for chocolates or that unknown feeling of ecstacy or just another fashion pose women can never be out of feelings........ tried depicting a few
